Recommended: For girls mostly, it's definatley a good book.

Someone Like You

my rating: 5 Stars.
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 5 Stars.
quick summary: Halley has always followed in the wake of her best friend, Scarlett. But when Scarlett learns that her boyfriend has been killed in a motorcycle accident, and that she's carrying his baby, she's devastated. For the first time ever, Scarlett really needs Halley. Though their friendship may be tested by the strain, like a true friendship, it will endure.
Recommended: Definatley, a must read.

Living Dead Girl

my rating: 5 Stars.
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 4 Stars.
quick summary:When Alice was ten, Ray took her away from her family, her friends -- her life. She learned to give up all power, to endure all pain. She waited for the nightmare to be over. Now Alice is fifteen and Ray still has her, but he speaks more and more of her death. He does not know it is what she longs for. She does not know he has something more terrifying than death in mind for her. This is Alice's story. It is one you have never heard, and one you will never, ever forget.
Recommended: Very Much! It does have some adult content.

Impulse

my rating: 5 stars.
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 5 stars.
quick summary:Three teens who have attempted suicide meet in a psychiatric hospital, battle their demons, and begin to heal. The handsome son of wealthy parents, Connor has everything anyone could want; except his family's love and affection. Jailed for years after killing his mother's child-molesting boyfriend, Tony is confused about his sexuality. Manic-depressive Vanessa cuts herself. All three stories intertwine in a brutally honest story about pain and resilience.
Recommended: Yes, but again, some adult content.

A Child Called It

my rating: 4.5 stars.
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 5 stars.
quick summary:Dave Pelzer shares his unforgettable story of the many abuses he suffered at the hands of his alcoholic mother and the averted eyes of his neglectful father. Someone with no one to turn to, his dreams barely kept him alive. Through each of his struggles, readers will find themselves enduring his pain, comforting his loneliness and fighting for his will to survive.
Recommended:Yes. It's very detailed with strong language but worth every minute.

Eager

my rating: 3.5 Stars
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 4.5 Stars.
quick summary:It's the end of the 21st century where technocrats rule and robots take care of humans’ every need. Your house watches you, knows your secrets, and talks to you. And your closest friend can be a machine? Gavin Bell and his teenage sister Fleur come from a middle-class family. Their much-loved, old-fashioned robot, Grumps, is running down and can’t be repaired, so a scientist friend loans them EGR3, an experimental new robot to help Grumps. EGR3, known as Eager, learns from his experiences, as a child would. He feels emotions, wonder, excitement, and loss. When the ultra high-tech, eerily human BDC4 robots begin to behave suspiciously, Eager and the Bells are drawn into a great adventure that is sometimes dark and often humorous. As Eager’s extraordinary abilities are tested to the limit, he will try to find the answer to this question: What does it mean to be alive?
Recommended: If you're into futuristic kinds of books.

The Kingdom Keepers

my rating: 3 Stars.
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 4.5 Stars.
quick summary:Finn Whitman, an Orlando teen, and four other kids are transformed into hologram projections that guide guests through the park. The new technology turns out, however, to have unexpected effects that are both thrilling and scary. Soon Finn finds himself transported in his DHI form into the Magic Kingdom at night. Is it real? Is he dreaming? Finn's confusion only increases when he encounters Wayne, an elderly Imagineer who tells him that the park is in grave danger. Led by the scheming witch, Maleficent, a mysterious group of characters called the Overtakers is plotting to destroy Disney's beloved realm, and maybe more.
Recommended:If you're into fantasy/mystery, then this is a great book for you!

I strongly suggest reading the twilight series. It is amazing and it's not girly its for both genders. Since everyone has their own opinion on it, I won't list it above, but it's far amazing then everyone else says.
